Delivery and Order Issues

1. Production estimate

Turnaround depends on the completeness of the customer's brief and, for printed books, the illustration and production schedule. After checkout, we review the order and confirm an estimated schedule by email. Any estimate runs from the point at which payment and the final brief have both been received.

2. Printed books

Free UK shipping is included with softback and premium hardback orders. Stripe collects the supported delivery address during checkout. If the destination is not supported and no alternative can be agreed, we will refund the payment. Unless another timeframe is agreed by email, goods will be delivered within 30 days of contract acceptance. We remain responsible for the order until it is delivered to the customer or their nominated recipient.

3. Personal details and production

The customer is responsible for checking names, relationships and important details when submitting the order and creative brief. Our team checks the supplied details while creating the book, then prepares the finished work for print without sending a separate version for customer checking. If we introduce an error against the confirmed brief, such as a spelling mistake, contact us and we will review the appropriate correction or remedy.

5. Damaged, faulty or incorrect items

Please contact hello@yourstorybegins.shop as soon as reasonably possible with the order reference and clear photographs if an item arrives damaged, is faulty or does not match the confirmed specification. We will review the issue and provide the repair, replacement, correction, price reduction or refund remedy required by law. Reporting within 14 days helps us investigate carrier damage, but it does not reduce statutory rights.
